true OJ, the techs you mentioned are growing at a good clip.

However, the free market has not been suspended for the techs...do you remember Dell's Qtr 4 1995? A disappointment.

Do you remember CSCC (Cascade Communications)? I'm sure you do. And how about ASND? Seems like for both of those hot companies, they hit some serious slow patches.

Do you remember ORCL a few years ago? When the stock plummeted due to slow growth in Europe? Do you remember Larry Ellison laughing about ORCL stock taking something like a one-day ~25-30% haircut?

Of course you remember all of these, OJ. But a lot of people out there have no idea that even blue-chip tech profits can and do hit air pockets. As a matter of fact, LU and QCOM just recently warned.

All I'm saying is that this market love affair with tech will have rocky times too.
