Fonix Speech Products Demonstrated at CT Expo in Los Angeles; Human Quality Fonix TTS Available for Internet Applications
SALT LAKE CITY, Mar 7, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Fonix(TM) Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: FONX) announced today that it will demonstrate its text-to-speech (TTS) and automatic speech recognition (ASR) products at the Computer Telephony Spring Expo March 7 - 9, in Los Angeles, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Fonix TTS provides the critical voice output link in Internet voice portals for web and e-mail access from any telephone.
Fonix TTS, including both male and female American English voices, demonstrates a significant advancement over conventional TTS technologies in natural human voice intonation (prosody) and listening quality. The Fonix TTS products are available at booth number 2927 at the CT Expo show.
