On the conference last night/afternoon (?), although I haven't seen any transcripts I've read a few messages that say that Howard made a "no comment" statement but then went on to say with a smile that shareholders will be happy. The signs are all very positive that something is being discussed but Howard's discretion doesn't give me a lot of confidence that they will be closed favourably. I wonder how much influence he had on Tyco's reneg.
