Am I the only one on this board. Maybe. In any event I have posted the following on other boards: Welcome! Abandon all hope those who buy INTA. I am a long term, almost three years now, investor. Nothing has happen until recently. First, INTA does not behave like any other stock that I have followed, and I have followed scores. INTA is the only incubator, or close-end mutual fund, which does not track (follow) its investments, e.g., interWAVE (iwav) goes up 10%; INTA goes down 15%. INTA owes 3% of interWAVE. Go figure. Second, INTA began (and still is) in the internet telecommunications business and customer information and management software. I ,and others pre-4th quarter 1999, bought INTA because we believed that this would be the next out-scourced internet activity, after storage, like EMC. I still believe that INTA will reach 100 per share if and only if the software package takes off. Third, recently new management took over and re-positioned INTA as an incubator because INTA had through dumb luck acquired interests in three companies, i.e., interWAVE, Mamma.com, and a tech-advisory dot.com (the name now escapes me). Fourth, I doubt the market is buying incubator-INTA. It has attracted new investors, who are in-your-face loud. Fifth, don't look for earnings. INTA also does not respond to anything, least of all earnings, reported or estimated. Now is there anyone out there listening (or reading). Way up this A.M., will it hold and continue -- or --- just another mirage. |
