I think it should and will happen. ATHM and RR make sense. It is too early for a winner to be decided. The government can't say a word. If T and TWX are forced to divest, the ATHM/Road Runner combo would be a great alternative. Once they offer phone service, they would be able to compete on an even playing field. They must and will be able to protect themselves from the likes of the bigger boys. The new laws are obselete when they are passed. IMO the industry is moving too fast. BTW I just signed up the Bell Atlantic DSL, and IMO high speed access is the future, 56k modems should be outlawed immediately. If everyone tried it, broadband access companies would be trading triple what they are now. Have a great day, Rob
