I had the pleasure, during a recent cross-country redeye flight, of having a seatmate that was a customer/sales engineer from a large server company. You know, the one the planets revolve around. Her home base happened to be Alpharetta, GA. Her speciality was in SANs, huge Storage Area Networks, fiber-channel attached, big iron servers and all that. Of course you know what is in Alpharetta. The trucks with gear roll into that site all the time and they have to really hustle to install it all. Very interesting and pleasant semi-technical conversation !! If I ever had any doubt that E*Trade was making the requisite investments in infrastructure, I got convinced pretty easily and don't have them any more. Just an interesting aside to lighten up the crap on this thread. So, how many 7 figure portfolios did you blow away today ;-)
