E*TRADE condones this behavior by the people who pay E*T to send them their order flow. If you complain, you will get told that a 'trade enquiry' will be instigated. This means that 1.) there is a 1% chance E*T will get back to you and refuse to rectify the situation or 2.) most likely you will never hear back from E*T, even if you complain about not hearing back from them.

I know from experience. I won't go into all the ridiculous b*llsh*t I've heard from the Customer Service people over the phone as well.
