...you didn't check Japan in the 80's?

I've seen historical data, but to experience it every investing day is something different. A few weeks ago I saw an old (from the late 80s) "60 minutes" re-run about Japan buying up the United States and dominating the Automobile and Electronics industries. Not only are investors part of the mania, but the News reporters are also a primary tool.
