Com21's DOXport 111 Receives CableLabs Certification

MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 2000--Com21, Inc. (Nasdaq:CMTO), a leading global supplier of system solutions for the broadband access market, today announced that CableLabs(R) has granted CableLabs(R) Certified(TM) status to the Company's DOXport(TM) 111 cable modem. The DOXport 111 is the newest addition to Com21's Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS)-compliant DOXport family of cable modems. The DOXport 111 expands the DOXport 100 Series, a product line designed for the value-conscious consumer. The modem is designed with next generation silicon and an improved tuner and will start shipping in volume in April 2000.
