Gary, SURELY YOU JEST! It's obvious from your posts that you do not work in the computer industry. Microsoft reigns supreme when it comes to VAPORWARE! They have always pre-announced products in an attempt to forestall consumers' purchases of already available software. Because they carry such weight in the industry, such a strategy of F.U.D. (fear, uncertainty & doubt) has worked in their favor time and time again. In fact, the very TERM F.U.D. was coined and came into widespread usage because of such devious MSFT deeds. BTW, did you catch the tone of desperation in MSFT's Pocket PC announcement at the recent CEBIT show in Germany? They felt a need to explicitly state that "we will ship in June and this is one deadline that we won't miss!". Uh-huh... so we'll all stand still and wait for yet another attempt at something useable since the WinCE product was certainly NOT!!! "Freedom to innovate." HAH! MSFT has never innovated ANYTHING! In this industry they're notorious for buying, copying, reverse-engineering, appropriating... ANYTHING BUT innovating. Study the history of the computer industry before you compose such ludicrous posts.
