LOOK COMMUNICATIONS INC ("LKC-V;LKLVF-L") - Takes On Former Domain
Monopoly

David Parkes, President and CEO, announces that Look Communications Inc. has entered the
domain name market, ending a long-standing U.S. based domain name monopoly. The company
announced through a partnership with a Canadian-based domain registrar that consumers can now
register a domain name for an annual cost of $15 CDN.

"Canadians will no longer be subjected to paying a U.S. company high fees to register a .com," said
Colin Campbell, Senior Vice-President, Internet Services, Look Communications Inc. "In the past,
all domain names had to be registered through U.S. based Network Solutions Inc. at a cost of
US$70 for two years. Look is making domain names affordable for all Internet users which means
individuals, charities, organizations and small businesses who may have decided not to pursue a
domain name in the past due to cost, can now register a domain name through Look at the lowest
price Canada-wide."

Users can register domain names through Look, by logging onto Look's web hosting site at
www.easyhosting.com. If the domain name is not currently registered, users can order the name
instantly.

"Look has always been and will continue to be committed to fair competition and consumer choice,"
said Campbell. "Canadians are among the most Internet-literate users in the world. We see the
Internet as an integral part of business development and domain names are quickly becoming a key
part of the development process."
