OPTI will move up when they have some tangible positive results. But I would suggest you avoid companies like OPTI if you are unable to bear with a 20% paper loss. Right now the company is in the "promise" mode. And despite good- but not excellent- finances (Value Line rates their Financial Strength at a 'B') don't ever think that corporate management is incapable of concocting ways of dissipating cash on hand.

Please tell me about the easier ways to make money. I would never encourage someone to "stash some dough for a rainy day" in a rather speculative, unprofitable company like OPTI.
