So far, no luck. She enjoys mechanical the most. I knew I should not have taken her flying when she was only two.
Thank goodness she has her mom's brains, good looks and sunny disposition. Marriage may yet save her from a life of poverty (g)
Kidding aside, what is more important, or more truly beautiful for each of us, than watching our own private miracles, our "kids", spring from our genes, pass through each of the marvellous stages of childhood, metamorphize (overnight it seems) into gangling "chemical factories" (teens) then move on to tackle this crazy world as adults? There are times when my heart almost bursts with the pride I feel in each of them, and the only thing that makes it something that I am not ashamed of, is that I know that every parent and everyone of you guys and gals out there feel the same way about yours.
Gordon Lightfoot had it right. Our children are the only things that really count.
Not that keeping them fed isn't a chore. (g)
