Bandwidth Wars: In my estimation the last mile problem was solved years ago by the Hughes DirectPC. The problem has been in getting the price down. Currently, it is about $39 a month for 6 PM to 6 AM, and $100/mo. more for the reverse times. By the way, this would work well from my cabin, where Cable and xDSL are not available. Work well that is, unless a MN thunderstorm prevents satellite seeking for an hour or so.<g> valueelectronics.com o~~~ O
