Use your imagination and go to extremes and you will know the breadth of definitions for "Goodfaith effort," Or just read the Denver Post. The opponents are saying it is a decision that supports the refusal to hire women and minority owned businesses.

Ex-Mayor Fredrico Pena is telling business people that the world has changed and not to rely on the government for support in getting contracts. He initiated a lot of the Affirmative action legislation in Denver years ago. Reggie Jackson (radio talk show host and columnist for the Denver Post) is championing the decision. The City council is calling on Mayor Webb to veto the decision.

It aint pretty but if controversy makes you tic, join the fun.
