If the U.S. (or should I say when) blows up like Japan and simultaneously Japan is still sucking wind, it has much more than economic implications. Opportunists that can't even understand the problems and causes will find all sorts of things to blame it on for their own personal gain. And since the public doesn't understand what's going on now they won't understand what's going on later either. Who knows how that will play out politically - especially if it gets real bad. It's something that worries me. I hope I am wrong. (ng) Wayne
