Ron et al: If this isn't good news for CIC in the run up to NASDAQ--I don't know what is. CIC to be included in the TSE 100 effective March 17--St Patrick's Day (important omen for us Irish/English/French/?? Canadians.

TSE 100---sort of the Canadian version of the S&P 500.

Opens up buying for CIC to all the remaining Funds and Blue Chippers.

TORONTO, March 6 /CNW/ - Standard and Poor's Canadian Index Operations would like to announce changes to the TSE 100 as a result of the Annual Revision of the Index. These changes will be effective before the open of trading on Friday, March 17, 2000.
