Philip: In answer to your question on the shoe cover patent. The patent on the shoe cover process was granted in 1992 and will expire in 2009. The patent also includes a process for making caps that I have demonstrated and sold serveral million of the caps. The company is not currently using this part of the patent at this time.
It may be of interest that Kimblery Clart tried to buy this patent twice. Once before I made my deal with Alpha and once after. I turned them down the first time and Alpha did the second time. They made a strong attempt to break the patent and failed to do so.
