Phone calls with Cyber today...

Mixed news to report:

I spoke with the person handling the Penson margin query and
he reports they finally have some data back and are reviewing it.
After that, I was told somebody else wanted
to speak with me, and Mr. Stryker (CEO) got on the phone.

He once again accused me of making 'false, inaccurate,
and or incomplete statements' on SI and that Cyber would
no longer respond to my posts. I reminded him that he
rescinded those same statements the last time we spoke, but
he insisted that I had done these things. I pressed him
for any one specific instance, and he would only say "
there are too many" and "I can have xxx or xxx go thru all the
SI posts." Again, I asked, if I have been misleading, so
many times, surely he must know one off the top of his
head? But he would not give me one. We left it with an understanding
somebody else would contact me with just one such instance.

He says he has no problem with me posting here answers to
questions by Cyber staff via phone calls. I really dont
like to do that as it always raises the question of
mischaracterizations and incorrect/incomplete qoutes. Hence
this post now.

He confirmed that test Island data presented in stock
boxes for a listed issue could potentially cause a valid
order to reject, which would require the user to phone in
an order. *Keep this in mind if you trade listed issues*
However, he seemed to indicated that this is beyond Cyber's
control and did not suggest that anything would be done
to prevent test island data from being displayed. I told
him that I was more upset with the response posted here
that suggest *I* contact Island then the fact this 'data'
was displayed. A simple 'we cant prevent island test data
from being displayed, be careful if you see it and if any
order rejects call broker ops right away' would have been
sufficient, but perhaps that is an unreasonable response to expect.

Let me say here, as Cybercorp seems to think I am a very
unsatisfied customer and that they are not meeting my needs:

--At no point have I trashed the Cyber platform
--At no point have I made hostile or threatening comments
--At no point have I made insulting remarks to any employee
--Many 'complaints' have been simple statements of fact,
ie the test Island data in a PG stock box
--Other complaints have revolved around not getting
timely or complete responses from support staff, either
on the communicator, the phone, or here on SI

That said

-- I do not have 'problems' every day
-- Many of the staff are hard working and polite (and I
have posted to that effect before)
-- Clearly, if Cyber were not meeting the vast majority
of my trading needs, I would have left long ago
-- I have in general been very patient in waiting for
responses to any but the most pressing of issues
(i waited from jan 25 to march 3 before repeating
the Penson problem)
-- When ever I have found a bug/'feature' or other
odditiy in the software, I have always told the person
on the other side that I am happy to help test any
fixes or patches.

However,

-- I don't fawn over any company I pay thousdands of $$
in fees to annually
-- I am brutually honest and do not sugar coat
-- I will work hard with anybody to fix a problem, so
long as I see that the same efforts are made on the
otherside.
