Ahhhhh! Cappucino! When I left my wife I lived on very little money and, therefore, lots and lots of instant coffee. After 1 week instant coffee tasted fine. It only cost me $5 a month to keep myself caffeinated. I used to preach the efficaciousness of instant coffee daily, touting it's performance to my nervous system, while at the same time lauding it's friendliness to my pained budget. A few years later I moved into a very nice place with a large front room for an office, very comfortable indeed, and I began to wonder if there really are better tasting things than instant coffee. One day something happened in my brain, and on impulse I bought an $800 dollar espresso machine. From one day to the next my thinking had changed! I never looked back. My coffee now goes down like nourishment instead of tar. It's like food. Everyone who tastes my coffee says "Thinkbach, this is the most delicious coffee I have ever tasted. What a wonderful machine you have! Can you show me how to invest in the stock market like you do?" Now I spend $60 a month on coffee, 1/3rd of which is decaffeinated. In this way I am able to drink 4 or 5 long espressos, mostly smooth brown roasts because I dislike the bitter, per day, without the unpleasant raciness I used to get in my blood from drinking regular coffee. I am, subsequently, more even-tempered with my children, a better companion, and yet I remain able to muster the requisite alertness needed to pay attention and not miss the one day I happen to be in at the time. Now when I go out of the house, which is rare as I am a contented homebody, especially now that I have a wonderful sweetheart to keep me company (although when the weather warms up we do like to go bike riding, and in fact, now that I think of it, since I found a sweetheart I have been going out a LOT more than I used to!), I rarely drink coffee in a restaurant, unless it is Turkish or Greek after a meal. I wait until I get home. My coffee really is delicious, Spy, and if you, my friend, are ever up my way it would be my pleasure to offer some to you :)
