<< was it done writing puts? >> taxman Nothing as glamorous I am afraid. I bought GMST in MAR/APR '97(and a few times subsequently) and held on since then. Additionally I bought a boatload of calls on TVGIA for a song(almost no premium and at a great discount to the merger ratio with GMST a few months ago). It has added up to a considerable position and hence the performance of my portfolio in the past 3 days. I tend to write deep outta money, soon to expire puts on good quality volatile stocks* to pick up some "pocket change" every month--no way I could make that kinda money writing puts! I don't mind getting assigned which is a rare event. Do you work for IRS? If so, I been a good boy last year, and the check's in the mail :) Take care dude... -PWM * QCOM, GMST, MSFT
