comma..similar to you. You cannot expect anyone to involve themselves in a prescribed manner unless 1. They understand the requirements of the task and 2. They are able to perform the task. This is basic whether raising children or defining the organizational requirements of a society at large.

So, maybe a point of difference between you and I would be the parameters of your responsibility to ensure these things as a parent or government entity. Your statement seems pretty open ended. In our current culture anyone who is unsuccessful in business can lay it back on you for not ensuring that they were not fully informed and that their abilities were adequately developed...except white males. Glad, I am not the government employee with this responsibility.....comma
