we have a dumb president now. I realize this. I am not particularly eager to have another. The only hope I have remaining is that whichever party wins the Presidency loses the legislature. Then they can spend the next 4 years bickering while the rest of us get along with our lives and our business. I always prefer to see control divided; that way moderation is forced on both parties and neither has any chance of imposing their more peculiar ideas. The best government is sometimes a paralyzed government.
