What is your opinion of bifurcation of NYSE and NASDQ performance? Can we safely view techs as a separate and self-contained market, independent of the broader market? If so, we would not need heed bearish BPNYSE, 20 Bond, 10 Week MA.

Tulvio, my unsolicited 2 cents - I safely viewed techs as a separate and self contained market in July of 1998, with the NYSEBP in a column of O's. Since the BPOPTI was bullish and my tech stocks were screaming, why worry.
Tommy was on CNBC on July 14 and said - "Our main indicator is still bearish" and I said too bad for people who own non tech stuff. The OPTI will save me and I stopped moving up my stops. BIG mistake! What the market didn't take back on August 4th, it got on August 31st!!!!

The good news is that I don't travel without close stops or a hedge with the NYSEBP in O's anymore.

Take care, Dick
