I do believe that stocks go up for two reasons, news and emotional reaction... that's about it.

Well that about covers the full spectral gamut don't you think? News being perhaps:

1. Earnings reports
2. Fundamentals
3. Growth
4. Mergers/Acquistions
5. Implementation of business plans
6. Increase in staff/personel
7. Increase in office space
8. Productivity
9. New Ventures
10. Partnerships
11. Expansion into new markets
12. Blah, blah, blah

Emotional reaction, hmmmm....where do we begin...

1. Hang nails
2. Greenspank
3. Floods/famine
4. War somewhere
5. CNBC Squack Box
6. Dow 9,000
7. Dow 11,000
8. Nasdaq 5,000
9. Summer dolldrums
10. Silicon Message Boards
11. Yahoo Message Boards
12. Good earnings report=sell off
13. Zero revenues=gap up for Amazon and entire tech sector.
13 1/2. Tulip talk
13 3/4. Biotech craze/B2B craze/eCRM craze
14. In Europe, Coca Cola is rumored to contain poison and Warren Buffets 75,000 a share Berkshire Hathaway plummets 25,000 and all the groupies are confounded and do not know what to do and it causes an emotional reaction.
15. Presidential election year
16. Oil prices rise/fall/rise
17. Bad hair day
18. Kitchen sink thrown in for good measure
19. Maria Bartiromo

Now for the rest of the story...Here are some more quotes:

I don't recall forecasting a plummet to obscurity, though I am sure it will get there in time.

Okay, so are you forcasting obscurity or not?? Can you please define obscurity for all of us. I would hate to misunderstand your meaning. Is any price below...let's say
12 cents, obscurity???

The more I think about it, the more I recall that most market maker lineups that I have seen on BB stocks are all over the map.
There were probably some today with a bid of .50 and ask of $2 or something like that.

Now while you are thinking about all the probabilities I would appreciate if you could be sure. That would be much more helpful when you decide to report back here.

So there's usually a few MM's obviously not even interested in trading.

Well, I am glad it is OBVIOUS to you. Because you kind of sort of said something like this: "Even though it is probably something like that the more I think about it and the more I recall though I am not forcasting I am sure it will get there in time even though they cannot keep on top of every PR and rumor."

Yep, looks like you have it all covered.

In other words... Are you saying GONT is not a scam run by criminals? Or just near criminals who churn out PR's and news which borders on near lies because this is a shell of a company who is really doing nothing but churn and eventually burn. I guess you are telling us again that GONT is just another lowly penny stock and we had better get out while we can because it will likely be walked down by the MM's who may or may not be interested in trading this stock and are not paying attention to every Rumor and PR and they just have the computer alerts set so they don't get burned therefore they may not really be manipulating this stock since we all know it will eventually go down like they all do. And they have no earthly idea weather this stock or this company is worth a hill of beans. Right??? And either way you called this one perfectly as you will likely remind us later. Right??!!

Thanks for the help. I am truly inspired.
