Pravin: Should be very interesting tomorrow! CNBC said at 7:15 pm ET that AMD chip has been selected...Maybe, given lengthy time frame for Xbox to market, both chips have been selected for the shorter term to ensure that such healthy competition results in the best Xbox in 2HY2001...Not a bad idea from MSFT's vantage point to defer commitment to sole chip producer for a bit! Really though, the demonstration models tomorrow will be based on an Athlon chip. You know the green logo and all...MFST may just be allowing Intel every opportunity given their status prior to October 1999...Sorta like the boxing rule where the champ doesn't lose the title 'til he is knocked out!!! That certainly would be the gracious manner for MSFT to handle the dethroning of the PWEIII by the "spry Athy" that is apparent to most!
