You're suggesting that Apple should port OS X to x86 so that we can run Windows Applications on Intel hardware? And give up Mac OS apps in the process?

Uh...call me dense, but if that's you're goal then why not just run Windows and be done with it?

BTW, Steve Jobs tried to do exactly what you're describing once. It was called OpenStep for Windows. If it had turned out to be the magic solution, then he'd probably still be selling it today.
