Olga, if I understand the process correctly, the meeting called is a "special meeting" as opposed to say an "annual general meeting". This means it is called in compliance with the articles of incorporation to consider items that are deemed to need timely attention as outlined in the "notice of special meeting". So the meeting tends to serve largely an administrative function (albeit involving things that affect the shareholder...thus our invitation). It will probably (my guess) not be well attended and probably not deal with much other than the stated business ( new directors appointment and name change). While these are very significant items to the business of the company, the meeting does not serve to enlighten as much as the "annual general meeting" which I expect to occur in April and to which as shareholders, we will be entitled and invited to attend. I have formed and administered a couple of companies and that is why I believe I am correct in regards to this meeting. Having said all of this, I too would be interested in a field report from anyone that may have attended. One things for sure, a press release will surely follow given the name change etc.
Regards
C
