There is no hard "30-day" NASDAQ time frame for the required $4/$5 bid price. I sent the following question to the NASDAQ last night: "Regarding the NASDAQ National Market requirement of a $5 bid price, is there a time frame associated with this requirement, i.e. does the bid have to maintain $5 for a specified # of days before a company can submit a request for listing?" Here's their response: "The minimum bid price for initial inclusion on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market is $4.00 for Nasdaq National Market is $5.00. While there is no stated timeframe that the security must meet the price test, we look for a pattern of compliance. Generally, this means that the security must be above the stated standard for 10-30 trading days. With respect to the turnaround time for application processing, it generally takes 4 to 6 weeks, but there are many variables (size of the company, company principals, etc.)."
