This mania has had the advantage over the prior manias in that it can spawn new concepts (sub-manias) The oil mania of 1980 had sub-manias in alternative energy sources such as hydro-electric power, oil shale, solar power, bioconversion, and geothermal equipment. but still nothing compared to this one. b
