The latest on Bacon Island, from one of the participants:

Other than getting a rig, which could happen soon, there is only one other potential problem on the horizon. There is a fear of considerably warmer temperatures in central California, especially as it affects the Sierra Nevada snow melt. This is discouraging to say the least. But imagine moving a rig onto the site and having it stuck in the mud and surrounded by water, at a cost of $5,000 per day! So, we continue to wait out this situation, knowing that the alternative could be much worse. They say good things come to those who wait.
