"I seriously doubt that PALM computers and "UNIX" (Solaris, Linus, etc ) applications will be a significant contributor to CITRIX's profitablilty..."

David- Out of curiosity, why not? The more devices out their, talking different languages, the more it makes sense that all are able to speak a common language- Windows and soon, UNIX. It would seem like this would add a great deal of value to those devices.

"CTXS's growth originally came from the demand for thin-client intranet computing needs and it is still a dominant revenue source and cash cow for the company today."

Danny- If I'm not mistaken, ironically Citrix was developed to be a narrow bandwidth solution. Whether it be a wired LAN or dial-up. It would be a big kick if it went full circle and was once again perceived as a narrow bandwidth solution. This time via wireless, but a narrowband solution nonetheless. It would be fitting.....If there are any CTXS history buffs, can this be verified? I believe my thoughts are about 5 years old(ancient history in tech time).

Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida)
