TSE indexes see stocks added and some deleted

TORONTO - The Toronto Stock Exchange will make several changes to the TSE 100 index, to take effect March 17. The stocks being added are: Descartes Systems Group Inc. (DSG/TSE), Clearnet Communications Inc. (NETa/TSE), Sierra Wireless Inc. (SW/TSE), CTV Inc. (TV/TSE), Certicom Corp. (CIC/TSE), Four Seasons Hotel Inc. (FSH/TSE), Rio Alto Exploration Ltd. (RAX/TSE) and Precision Drilling Corp. (PD/TSE). The following will be deleted: Hudson's Bay Co. (HBC/TSE), Cameco Corp. (CCO/TSE), Cominco Ltd. (CLT/TSE), Rio Algom Ltd. (ROM/TSE), Ipsco Inc. (IPS/TSE), Moore Corp. (MCL/TSE), Investors Group Inc. (IGI/TSE) and Burlington Resources Canada Inc. (BRX/TSE). The exchange is adding BCT.Telus Communications Inc. (BTS/TSE) and Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM/TSE) to the 35 index and is deleting Moore and Laidlaw Inc. (LDM/TSE). It is decreasing the weight of BCE Inc. (BCE/TSE) to 1,700 shares from 3,000 shares and decreasing the weight of Nortel Networks Corp. (NT/TSE) to 1,700 shares from 4,000 shares.
