Mike,

As a value guy I have much less to impress you with than I had a few months ago. (ng) The industries traditional value guys like me like to invest in keep getting cheaper and cheaper. I keep adding, and they keep declining - sometimes right in the face of improving fundamentals. I'm a patient guy, but at a certain level of insanity in the markets it starts to get to you a little.

I saw this this morning.

Growth Mutual Funds +27 billion inflows so far this year.

Value Mutual Funds -12 billion inflow so far this year.

Personally I think growth and value are joined at the hip but the growth component of the value is way out of line. I can't see what's going to stop it short term.

Maybe all the cheap companies should merge and refuse to buy any technology for more than a penny. (g)
