TRACER REPORTS APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR
TRACER PETROLEUM CORPORATION (?Tracer? or the ?Company?) is pleased to report that prominent Singapore-based businessman, Mr. Tan Ching Khoon, has agreed to join the Board of Directors. Mr Tan is President, Worldwide Operations, of Maschinenbau Halberstadt GmbH (?MBH?). MBH, which is one of the largest reciprocal combustion diesel engine manufacturers in Germany, was jointly acquired by Dr. Baey Lian Peck and Mr. Tan in 1997 from the Government of
the Federal Republic of Germany.
Mr. Tan was educated in Singapore and trained in the field of advertising in the United States. He obtained his Master?s Degree in Marketing Management from the Macquarie University Graduate School of Management in Sydney, Australia.
Apart from his existing businesses, Mr Tan sits on the boards of several companies including those involved in power generation, Internet telephony, Internet ventures, mobile networks and project financing.
