The second odd event was when Suzanne walked through Phelps Gate instead of retracing her steps. She was seen "walking north on college street" by a friend (at least that's what 20/20 and other newspapers refer to this witness as).

Gotta say I still find this witness's testimony highly suspect, and the account of her hysterical call to the cops doesn't help.

If she were really a "friend" why didn't she say hello or at least wave? She must have been fairly close if, as she claimed, she could accurately describe a man walking behind Suzanne.

(And I still think that's total BS.)
