In London, Hutchison Whampoa closed HK$11.45, or 8.4%, higher at HK$146.82, as the market welcomed the conglomerate's plan to transform toy maker Harbour Ring into an Internet investment company, in cooperation with U.S.-based Internet Capital Group.
