Eagle Wireless Announces Signing of Letter of Intent to Acquire etoolz, Inc. (AMEX:EAG), and etoolz, Inc., www.etoolz.com, today announced the signing of a letter-of-intent enabling them to begin final preparations for the acquisition of etoolz by Eagle Wireless International, Inc. The acquisition is subject to shareholder approval and is expected to close within the next two weeks. Terms of the acquisition are not being disclosed at this time. Dr. H. Dean Cubley, president and chief executive officer of Eagle Wireless, and Bryan Scott, president and chief executive officer of etoolz, jointly announced the signing of this letter-of-intent. Current projects include the development of Java, Linux, and QNX software and hardware applications for the PC and set-top box industries. etoolz has filed one patent for a Java-related technology and is in the process of filing others.
