Jim- We were successful in our conversation. Successful in the fact it made me think about my points, and think about your points. I still am of the camp that money drives technology rollouts. Not the other way around. Bad way to word it, but I think you know what I mean.

BTW, on a humorous note. The TeraBeam concept was first purposed by Alexander Graham Bell about one hundred years ago. There is an actual working prototype in a museum. It's in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I got a major kick out of it.

Alexander was quoted as saying it was going to be more important, as an invention, than the telephone. I'm pretty sure he made a call on it from his house to to one across the street(kind of like a Last Mile situation). It did have a big problem. It would only work on sunny days. But isn't that one of the drawbacks of TeraBeam too?<g> -MikeM(From Florida)
