It would only be a net positive if one were fully invested in the tech area. Eventually this, like all other mania, times in the past will find a point where it cools off and many will not only lose but some will be wiped out. Institutions who are primarily invested in the large cap old line stocks because they cannot risk all their clients money in high volatility are not welcoming the decline in the NYSE and the rise in the OTC. For me don't think either or, I simply try to stay in stride with the right place to be. This is why OTC and NYSE BP's are fine for me. There will be a time when the NYSE BP again moves up and the OTC collapses. When that happens the new economy investors will wish they had some of the old economy stocks. Those who are in the right place at the right time won't care of its old or new economy, they are in it to make money. T
