Taxman,
The Value Line 100 is their list of stocks that they feel will outperform the market and for many years it has. The brightest and best WS analyst got their start at Value Line, their research is considered the best. The top funds use the VL 100 list for ideas and positions.
A short cut to the stocks on the VL 100 list is available on the net and is represented with about seven portfolios all taken from the 100 list. Each sample port uses a different model. I have been successful going long the stocks that appear in multiple portfolios. When I bought QCOM last spring it appeared in six of the seven portfolios.
