There's a front page article on the 3/13/2000 edition of Internet Week that details the IT overhaul Schwab will be embarking on. It also discusses the reasons why Schwab has more problems than other online brokerages whose infrastructures were designed with web-based trading in mind. (Schwab's was not.) Interesting stat is that 73% of all Schwab trades are now done online. I'll post a link to the article as soon as it becomes available online.
