Tom, Wireless is the direction Symbol is going and Tracker will also be using that technology of which some is available now. The big question and selling point is how much will Trackers system save a manufacturer in warranty fraud for example vs. how much the manufacturer will have to invest into infastructure. It will probably mean for many companies changing the way they do things possiblly and are they willing to make a commitment. They would need to invest in laser etching some where on the production line or a supplier would have to do this say on the chips or other important components in their equipment. IMO Sony must be dealing with this now and if they give the system the OK, then others will follow. The potential is huge. It is question of how much do they need to invest vs. how much will they save. Risk-Reward. Only time will tell. Don
