Considering just how lucrative the last several years have been for all of us non-union, non-minority, stock holders, isn't this mostly empty partisan rhetoric from the 70's and 80's which doesn't really apply anymore? Hate the captain as you will, the ship is doing pretty well. "Why rock the boat" is one reason a lot of people will vote for Gore, even if they don't like him or Clinton one bit.

Wouldn't we all like to see Robert Rubin as V.P.?
