Mainly plain simple ISP dial-up connection using 19,200 baud rate (I do limit modem speed to get more reliable connection - phone lines quality in here is really bad)- even this is enough to follow a dozen of tickers (board view, separate ticker windows, no charts). Of course entering high volume stocks like WCOM could turn RTQ into delayed in real time :o) As to data quality and speed - well, I do not have Bloomberg terminal on my desk to make a comparision, but for sure there must be at least 2-3 sec delay.
