When things get slow some day I would be interested in:
1) How long some of you have been trading for yourselves and whether you consider yourselves semi-retired?
2) How many years you think you will be daytrading - what is your goal?
3) Can you ever turn it off and relax at home?
4) How much of a stake you think you need before trying to trade full time?

1. 4 1/2 months... Daytrading is the farthest thing from retirement that I can imagine. I do not know why one would even consider that.

2. As long as I keep enjoying it. For me it is not about a monetary goal and then stopping. That would make it just a job.

3. NEVER (Me Personally) Each friday I cannot wait to get back. I am sure that will temper eventually. It is fun getting paid to think...

4. $50,000.00 (This is to start doing it for a living) Can be learned for less.
