GST Telecommunications Eliminates Approximately
100 Employee Positions

VANCOUVER, Wash., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- GST

eliminating approximately 100 employee positions.

The reductions, totaling approximately eight percent of GST's
work force, affect both managerial and support staff.

GST, the reductions are a result of efforts to reduce costs
and allocate additional resources to data and Internet
initiatives.
