Frank,

Than you for your post. I intened to keep INTC, without doubt. But
when we talk about brand names, we should be careful. If the econmoy slows sown, we will not grow beards, right. We still sill have to
shave, and that is where G comes in. The no. coke cans we drink will
not decrese, depressed people will drink and eat more(GGG!)

Would we buy more computers during a recession? I know the feeling
when your life time investment looses 50% in a year, that is the fear.

The idea behind this thread was the need to analyse the stock and
the its markets with attention to the fundementals of the market rather than product comapriosn with brand X.

It seems to me most of the mavericks bent on proving INTC superority in technology ignore the market sentiments. The stock market is full of comapnies with technological edge, but they are dumped at the first sign of trouble. We saw INTC go from mid 160's to upper 120's in a few weeks, and we still have not recovered.
We hope to recover and we certaily will. Important is not to get caught off gaurd. Frank, perforamance, as you know is not done by
wishfull thinking, but by staying alert and having a good flow of
inforamtion.

Kind regards

Yaacov
