Shambat starts with sundown in Bergamo. I know some Yeddish, but your knoweldge
of Yeddish is better than mine. We are Meditarranean Jews, our forefathers
were explelled fro Spain during the inquisiton in 1490's. A dialect
called Ladino. It is spoken among the Jews in Italy, Bulgaria, Turkey.
Greece, and Crete. It is still spoken at homes. To us Yeddish speaking jews are schor-yudden!!
