John. Additional on the no color change when clicking on single messages.

It does have something to do with SI Mail. I recalled that the last time this happened I had gone into my history files and found a really odd looking file. After deleting that file my color change on read messages magically started working again.

So for the heck of it, I went searching through my history files and again found an odd looking file. This time I opened it and it was an error message having to do with SI Mail and not being able to access mail. I deleted the file and WALA the color change on read messages is now working again.

BTW the file was a few days old and that's when the color change stopped working.

Wish I could give you more specifics but I can't and don't know how that would connect just know it does.
